Hasedera - Hydrangea path
Hasedera, a buddhist temple in Kamakura, has a beautiful Hydrangea garden to enjoy during Japan's rainy Season. This is a most popular destination, so would highly recommend for anyone visiting to go early in the day, or you may be waiting for over 90 minutes after purchasing your ticket to see the Hydrangea garden.
On the day I visited, it was raining and there was still a large number of people there to view the Hydrangeas.
The temple has a large selection of flowers available, in all seasons however is most famous for its Hydrangeas.
The temple is a short 2 minute walk from Hase Station.
There is an entrance fee for the temple as well as an additional ticket needed for the Hydrangea path (300yen). The adress is: 3 Chome-11-2 Hase, Kamakura, Kanagawa 248-0016
